Key Facilitation Agencies​

A number of agencies play key roles in facilitating business, whether to assist foreign investors in setting up their business in the country, assist local entrepreneurs in growing their business ideas or simply facilitate simple business-related applications and registrations.  

  • Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB)
The Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) is the Brunei Darussalam’s national investment promotion agency. Foreign investors interested in what Brunei Darussalam has to offer should contact BEDB to learn more about investing in the Sultanate. Find out more at www.bedb.com.bn 

  • FDI Action & Support Centre (FAST) 
The FDI Action and Support Centre (FAST) works closely with the BEDB to support incoming investment by facilitating investors in setting-up their business in Brunei. FAST offers a fast-track approval process for high-value investments, from coordinating and obtaining high level approvals to expediting the set-up of business operations.

  • Darussalam Enterprise (DARE) 
DARE (Darussalam Enterprise) is the national SME board aimed to nurture and support local enterprises from start-up to growth. DARE works closely with government and non-government agencies locally and abroad to foster the growth of business enterprises and increase GDP contribution. DARE provides financing, market access and capacity-building programmes for enterprises at various levels to expand their business and increase their business skills and knowledge, including the Industry Business Academy, the Start Up Bootcamp Programme and the Micro-Credit Financing Scheme.   • Business Support Centre
The Business Support Centre (BSC) provides a single physical venue for businesses to:
  - Access and submit business-related applications (permits, licenses and registrations)
  - Obtain business advice and information on business-related processes
  - Learn about and apply for SME programmes and incentives

  - Log-in business related issues, feedback and inquiries

BSC is open:
Monday to Thursday from 8am to 12pm and 2pm to 4.30pm 
Fridays from 8am to 11.30am and 2.15pm to 4.30pm
